A 38-year-old Port Washington man who served as a teacher in southeast Wisconsin is facing charges related to child exploitation and pornography. Ryan C. Kruse was currently serving as a teacher at Forest Friends Learning Place in West Bend, and was formerly a teacher at Tiny Sprouts Child Care Center in Port Washington. He was arrested on Monday after a search of his Port Washington home.
The case began with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that was forwarded to the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Investigators with the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search of Kruse’s residence on Monday where they located and seized numerous electronic items for future forensic analysis.
Kruse makes his initial court appearance today to answer to one count of Possession of Child Pornography, and one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
