DENVER, CO (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers clubbed three home runs in a series-opening 7-1 win over the Colorado Rockies in Denver on Tuesday night.
Brice Turang, Christian Yelich and William Contreras all homered in the seventh inning for Milwaukee in the victory.
Freddy Peralta earned the win, allowing a run and striking out six batters in five innings.
Brenton Doyle hit a solo shot, accounting for Colorado’s lone run in the loss. The Rockies dropped to 2-8.
Game two of the series takes place Wednesday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 7:05.
