Forecasters are advising the public of the potential for trouble from two rounds of thunderstorms over the next two days.
The National Weather Service said that the risk of hail and gusty winds are the most likely trouble-makers in each case, but there’s plenty of uncertainty, with the timing of the first round today being difficult to nail down any closer than the late evening and overnight hours. Friday afternoon is the target for the second round, but doubt remains as to whether or not the storms are able to form in the first place. If they do, that would present the better chance for anything severe in the Sheboygan area, with a 2 in 5 risk of reaching that threshold.
It’s anticipated that a better handle on the timing in both cases will be available when another update is issued this afternoon.
