(LEARFIELD) – The Packers could finally take a wide receiver in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
That’s something they haven’t done in 23 years.
The draft starts Thursday night.
Christian Watson is still dealing with a knee injury, and he and Romeo Doubs are free agents next year.
That gives Green Bay an incentive to find a number-one receiver.
The team has hosted a half-dozen candidates in recent weeks.
