A 43-year-old Oshkosh man has been jailed on charges that he produced child pornography. Bradley D. Hounsell could spend at least 15, and up to 30 years in federal prison, fined up to $250,000, and would also have to register as a sex offender under state and federal law if he’s convicted of charges that he talked a minor under the age of 18 into engaging in sexually explicit conduct which he recorded.
The alleged online activity to coerce the minor happened between November 4th and 8th of 2023. Hounsell was indicted by the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin this past Tuesday (April 15) in federal court. The investigation, part of the nationwide Project Safe Childhood campaign, was conducted by the FBI and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.
