A project to complete the full reconstruction of South 20th Street on Sheboygan’s south side will once again require residents in that neighborhood to detour for several weeks. That area has seen multiple street projects over the past few years.
Although those living on the street will still have access, South 20th Street between Georgia and Indiana Avenues will be closed to through traffic beginning on Thursday the 24th as crews bring storm sewer work to completion, and finish resurfacing the road and completing walk ramp construction.
Although weather can have a big impact on schedules, it’s currently expected that the project will be done sometime in June this year.
