If the students of Plymouth High School show proficiency in finances overall, they very well could have the same teacher behind their success. Business Education teacher Todd Williams was one of 7 individuals honored in Madison on Tuesday with the 2024 Governor’s Financial Literacy Award.
Eight organizations, and four persons in the “Legacy” category, were also at the Capitol to be honored for their efforts to provide exceptional financial literacy and capability education in an inclusive and innovative manner.
Recipients were selected by the Governor’s Council on Financial Literacy and Capability based upon efforts in helping Wisconsinites build their financial skills within the past two years.
Besides his role since 2013 as a Business & Marketing Teacher, Williams is also an advisor for the Future Business Leaders of America.
