The achievements of nearly 450 students will be celebrated on Saturday as Lakeshore College holds its spring commencement ceremonies. The observance will take place in four sessions: the Health and Public Safety degrees will be presented from 9 until 10 a.m.; from 10 until 10:45 the Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Automotive and Registered Apprentice students will receive their diplomas; Business, Education, Culinary and General Studies students will cross the stage between 11 a.m. and noon; and the GED/HSED diplomas will be awarded between noon and 12:30. All activities will be held in Centennial Hall on Lakeshore’s Cleveland Campus. Friends and family are invited to be there beginning at 8 a.m. and all campus buildings will be open until 1:30.
Lakeshore President, Dr. Paul Carlsen, expressed pride in the achievements made by the students, adding that he and the rest of the faculty and staff are looking forward to the contributions they will make in the future. Carlsen called that “…the ripple effect of their success and the quality education they have received.”
