Operations to maintain highways in Sheboygan County will be conducted on both I-43 and State Highway 23 this week, and drivers are asked to stay aware and use caution in these work zones for the safety of crews and drivers alike.
Beam Guard repairs will take place on southbound I-43 at County Line Road now through Thursday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., with a moving lane closure employed to control the traffic flow around the job sites.
Pavement repairs to both the east, and westbound lanes of Highway 23 between County Highway P and I-43 are scheduled to take place between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day now through Thursday; again, moving lane closures will be used to protect crews and control traffic through the zone.
Southbound lanes of I-43 between Highway 23 and the south county line are scheduled for pavement repair operations daily through Thursday, May 15th, also between 6 and 4, and also using moving lane closures.
Finally, crews will repair cable guards on both directions of I-43 between County Highway OK and Wilson Lima Road both today and Wednesday, May 14 from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m., with moving lane closures employed.
Weather has the potential to impact all schedules.
