As we’re on the cusp of another busy Sheboygan summer season, preparations are in full swing for Sheboygan Brat Days. The invitation for marketplace vendors to take part is now open for non-profits and crafters at a cost of $80 for a 10’ x 10’ booth, while direct sale and commercial vendors can enter for $170 per 100 square-foot booth.
The Sheboygan Jaycees are behind the annual festival that celebrates Sheboygan’s signature sausage, an event that traces its origins back some 71 years when, according to organizers, the big feature included two 11-pound brats on display in Fountain Park. The downtown location hosted the celebration until its overwhelming popularity forced a pause by city officials in the 1960s. The current grounds are at Kiwanis Park, held this year on Saturday, August 2nd.
Vendors wishing to take part this time around must have their applications with payments in no later than Friday, July 11th, so long as room remains. More info and links to apply are available at https://www.brat-days.com/
