The National Weather Service in Milwaukee said that Sheboygan County did not experience a tornado during last Thursday’s severe thunderstorms.
An investigator said that, based upon the way two grain silos and a semi trailer were positioned after winds toppled them at DeMaster Trucking on Highway “LL” on the Sheboygan-Ozaukee County line, the winds that did the damage were likely from a downburst, and not a tornado.
The last tornado to hit the county was a weak twister that briefly touched down near Highway V in the Town of Wilson in 2018.
