A neighborhood on Plymouth’s southwest side was struck by thieves over the weekend. Police in the Hub City say that all vehicles that were entered late Saturday night and early Sunday morning in the South Hills neighborhood were unlocked. That allowed the thieves to take cash, credit cards, tools, electronics and other property.
Plymouth Police are asking anyone in that area to check surveillance video from between about 11:45 p.m. Saturday and 12:45 a.m. Sunday for evidence that could be used to locate those responsible. They also noted that no vehicles that were properly locked and secured were victimized, and while acknowledging that Plymouth is, as they called it, a “wonderful community”, crime still happens there, and are urging people to lock vehicles and remove valuables to help prevent such crime.
