A Milwaukee man who’s accused of causing the deaths of an Oostburg couple and seriously injuring their daughter has had his bond set at $2 million.
The complaint against Ace Vue by the Ozaukee County District Attorney’s Office claims that Vue was driving south at nearly 100 mph in the northbound lanes of I-43 and passed some 20 vehicles before colliding with an SUV occupied by Jay and Nicole Horne along with their daughter, 22-year-old Alissa. Jay and Nicole were deceased on the scene, while Alissa faces multiple steps to recover from serious injuries.
Vue was also hospitalized but released without notification of the Ozaukee County Sheriff, who then arrested Vue at his parents’ home in Milwaukee. He appeared in front of the courts for a bond hearing via video from jail where he used a neck brace and wheel chair. His bond was set at $2 million.
