Two persons were injured in a Tuesday afternoon accident at the intersection of State Highway 57 and County Road “J” in the Town of Plymouth.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received several 911 calls about a two-vehicle crash at about 1:13PM.
Responders said that an 84-year-old Elkhart Lake woman was northbound on 57 and attempting to turn west onto “J”, but did so in the path of a southbound dump truck, resulting in the collision.
Deputies say that the woman was seriously injured and was flighted by Theda Star for treatment.
The operator of the dump truck sustained minor injuries and was transported for treatment via Orange Cross Ambulance.
