DOT Crews plan once again to repair pavement on Highway 23 just west of Plymouth. Work on the eastbound lanes of 23 between County Highway “P” and Inez Court was scheduled last week, but work on the same stretch was again scheduled to take place this week from Monday until 3 p.m., Friday the 27th.
On Highway 28 which is being resurfaced from Waldo to the south County Line, a bridge over the North Branch of the Milwaukee River in Cascade is being replaced. The deck was poured last week, and this week the sidewalk and parapets will be put in place. Further west, a grading crew will start a cross culvert in Batavia.
Work on the first phase of the Highway 32 resurfacing project continues this week with forming and pouring the walls, and forming the top slab of a box culvert just north of Gibbsville to be done this week, while another crew will complete the ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps at Union and Main Avenues in Cedar Grove. The first phase from there to Highway “V” began at the beginning of April and was expected to take 4-5 months. After that, phase 2 from Highway “V” to Highway 28 will take place.
